Marietta, Georgia -
The 6-4-3 Foundation, the charitable arm of the 6-4-3 organization, is excited to launch an annual loose change collection campaign. The coins collected during this campaign will be donated to the Rally Foundation. Rally’s mission is to empower volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funding for childhood cancer research so we can find better treatment options with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, a cure.
Specifically, the funds collected will be deposited into a newly created research fund for brain cancers in memory of Rally Kid Carson Rozsman. Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of kids in the United States. Every school day, 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer. Kids get different kinds of cancers so different research is needed. Rally funds the best, life-saving research all over the world. 92 cents of every dollar given supports that research.
Families are encouraged to collect loose change in a container in your kitchen, in your car, at your office, etc. If interested, simple cup containers are available for pickup in the 6-4-3 office. The 6-4-3 Foundation will organize a collection day on November 12 for academy team families. If your coin bank/container becomes full, the 6-4-3 office will gladly accept your “deposit” anytime before November 12. Please contact David Carr with any questions.
